15 Most Unlikely Horror Movie Villains

12. A Condom – Killer Condom

The Gingerdead Man
Full Moon Entertainment

The title of this uber-low budget German comedy-horror is a bit of a giveaway but in case you need it spelling out: killer condoms are the villain here. Distributed by Troma (go figure), the film stars German actor Udo Samel as a gay Italian detective with a ridiculously stereotypical name – Luigi Mackeroni – who speaks German but fights crime in New York City.

As if that wasn’t confusing enough, Mackeroni’s life gets even more perplexing when he is tasked with solving a series of grisly penis-severing incidents at the aptly named Hotel Quickie and things get personal when Mackeroni loses one of his own testicles to a carnivorous condom while indulging in a quick tryst with a gigolo he’s just met.

But because the idea of a killer condom equipped with fangs sharp enough to chomp off choads is so absolutely absurd no one believes the now one-balled detective. And probably because condoms usually save lives, not take them away.

Its improbable villains aren’t even the most jaw-dropping thing about Killer Condoms but that Xenomorph creator H.R. Giger worked as creative consultant on the film. Mind, those pointy-toothed prophylactics do have a distinctly Alien-like look to them.
