The Originals: 2006's mental, video game-inspired Jason Statham-starring actioner was an unexpected critical success and also made over $40 million at the box office. This led to 2008's even more insane Crank 2: High Voltage, which totally ran with the absurdity of its premise and introduced a ton of outrageous, surreal humour. Though not quite as financially successful as the original (not to mention costing almost double), it enjoyed marginally stronger reviews. The Sequel: Crank 3D has been talked up ever since the second movie came out, and Statham re-iterated his interest in the film earlier this year, saying that he was waiting for directors Neveldine/Taylor to "get their heads together". Who knows what the plot-line from here could be, but in 3D? It's going to make a lot of people very sick. How Likely Is It?: Sadly, not very, considering that High Voltage underwhelmed at the box office and 3D tech would only make the budget more expensive. Plus, Statham's asking price has probably vaulted upwards several million dollars over the last 7 years. It may happen one day, but it'd a huge shock if everyone got their ducks in a row over the next 14 months. 3/10
