The Original: Expectations weren't exactly high for this Keanu Reeves-starring actioner out of the gate, yet it was unexpectedly lauded by critics for its riveting action sequences and intriguing narrative. It almost made four-fold its budget at the box office, cementing its status as a sure cult classic. The Sequel: Despite it seeming wildly unnecessary (yet totally something fans of the first still wanted to see), a sequel was announced at the start of the year, with shooting reportedly being set for the end of this year. However, there's no concrete start date set yet, so it remains to be seen whether or not John Wick 2 will actually go behind cameras soon or not. Either way, surely it can get rolling sometime in 2016. How Likely Is It?: It'd be surprising if the film wasn't in the can or even approaching release a year from now. 7/10
