Though this buddy action flick scored mixed reviews from critics, it fared much better with audiences, and multiplied its $30 million budget almost six-fold.

With its loony action and likeable surviving cast members, the foundation is set for a sequel, and it's hard to imagine Samuel L. Jackson and Ryan Reynolds saying no, considering how much fun they clearly had making the first one.

This isn't really the sort of sequel that needs to be rushed out, which is just as well considering Reynolds' busy slate, but it's totally conceivable that it starts shooting next summer. Expect an announcement later in the year once the insanity of Deadpool 2 is done with.
