2. Space Jam 2
The Original: If you were a kid in the mid-90s, there's no way you didn't see this uproariously entertaining live-action/animation hybrid, which while not exactly a favourite with critics, remains the highest-grossing basketball movie of all time. The Sequel: In early 2014, over 17 years after the original movie came out, Warner Bros. made the shock announcement that Space Jam 2 was happening, this time with LeBron James apparently starring. James' reps have denied this, even though he himself said he'd love to do it. No more word on it since then, but it's definitely happening... Will It Be Any Good?: Attempting to recapture the nostalgia of decades-old films is a risky business, and so it doesn't seem likely that a sequel will manage to live up to that. On the other hand, the original movie's plot wasn't exactly smart or sophisticated, so it could definitely make some improvements in that area.
