9. Don't Be Scared, It's A Goofy B-Movie - Arachnophobia

Now, it's worth mentioning that Arachnophobia has always been a horror-comedy (or a "thrill-omedy" as the trailer calls it), but this theatrical trailer really, really plays up the kitschy, goofy B-movie stuff, especially John Goodman's role as the comedic exterminator. The silly music probably doesn't help, either.

In reality, Arachnophobia is much more of a horror than a comedy, especially if you're even remotely scared of the eight-legged critters, and though you'd probably steer clear of the movie regardless of this light-hearted trailer if you're an arachnophobe, it still makes it out to be decidedly more tolerable than it actually is.
