11. It Was All A Dream - Tomorrowland

The Twist: Frank (George Clooney) and Casey's (Britt Robertson) journey to the mysterious, fantastical realm known as Tomorrowland turns out to have been an elaborate dream all along, and at the end of the movie, one or both of them (most likely Casey) wakes up, having to deal with the fact that the wondrous place and everyone in it was simply in their head. Why It Could Ruin The Movie: Because it's literally the laziest plot twist there is, and given what a magnificent vision Bird Bird appears to have assembled, for it all to ultimately be for nothing would be such a colossal let-down. To be taken on a wonderful adventure and get such an unimaginative conclusion would cause the entire movie to implode upon itself, and while it's unlikely to happen, it would be an easy way to cause instant viewer outrage.
