15 Predictions For 2015's Biggest Movies

9. The Fantastic Four Reboot Will Be Delayed

The Fantastic Four reboot has been pretty low on the cinematic radar despite the fact that it's been filming for over two months, and is due for release just less than a year from now. Chronicle director Josh Trank is an exciting choice for helmer, and while the rock solid cast (Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell) certainly promises a more interesting movie than the original, we can't help but suspect that the rather tight shooting schedule might result in a delay from June to either later in the summer, or even perhaps near the very end of the year. Prior to shooting, rumours continually abounded about aspects of the production (namely casting) that were being argued about, and while shooting is likely nearing its conclusion within the next month or so, the post-production schedule will need to be pretty frantic for a movie as VFX-driven as this in order to meet that June 19th release date. We'll have to wait and see, but either way, it won't hurt the movie too much.
