1. Rey Is Han & Leia's Daughter - Star Wars: The Force Awakens
The Prediction: It seemed practically signposted in neon that new protagonist Rey (Daisy Ridley) was going to be the daughter of Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Leia (Carrie Fisher), because it simply makes too much sense for her to not be, right? What Actually Happened: It's revealed fairly early on in The Force Awakens (in rather off-the-cuff fashion, no less) that Kylo Ren is actually Han and Leia's son, while it's heavily implied (though certainly not confirmed) that Rey may be the daughter of Luke Skywalker. Alternatively, she may simply be a force-sensitive individual, but it's 100% certain that she isn't the Solo daughter we were all expecting, and props to J.J.
