15 Predictions For 2015 Movies That Everybody Got Wrong

7. Fantastic Four Will Be Better Than The Previous Movies

The Prediction: After both previous Fantastic Four movies were critically slammed (scoring 27% and 37% respectively), this gritty new take, with a fantastic (sorry) cast and hungry young director in Chronicle's Josh Trank, can't possible be any worse, right? Right? What Actually Happened: Despite the talent attached, the word was out early that Fantastic Four had suffered through production issues related largely to Trank's erratic on-set behaviour, and this resulted in a film that couldn't at all be salvaged in post-production, winding up with a mere 10% critical approval rating. Indeed, the consensus is that the new movie falls short of the incredibly low bar set by the goofy prior movies, and though expectations weren't exactly high for this one, most at least expected it to be a marginal improvement over what came before.
