7. Terminator Genisys' Trailers Have Probably Spoiled The Whole Movie

Terminator Genisys has, to be fair, been a troubled project ever since it was first announced. Some of the casting has been rather troubling (Emilia Clarke is too cute for Sarah Connor, and Jai Courtney...sucks), the CGI looks incredibly hokey, and some of the rumours leaking out about the script sound like a diabolical betrayal of the franchise. Even ignoring all that, perhaps Genisys will be a solid movie in its own right, even if it doesn't live up to the incredible original two, yeah? Well, Paramount just released a new trailer, which many fans suspect has given away the movie's major plot twist, that John Connor (Jason Clarke) is in fact a Terminator himself, transformed by nano-bots into a new entity believed to be the T-5000. While it's possible that the movie actually has a double-fake in store (some believe that Matt Smith's under-wraps character may be the real Connor), the fact that the movie needed a serious interest boost after the negative reception to the first trailer might suggest that Paramount are simply adhering to the adage that "people want to know what they're seeing". Time will tell, but just play safe and don't expect many surprises when Genisys drops this summer.
