15 Problems Nobody Wants To Admit About 2015's Biggest Movies

12. Jurassic World Is Probably Going To Be Average At Best

Ever since the first teaser trailer dropped, there's been a heavy air of skepticism surrounding the new Jurassic Park movie, that it may follow the lead of the previous sequels and be an unworthy follow-up to the 1993 classic. The first red flags went up when the trailer showed Chris Pratt's Owen riding a motorcycle alongside a pack of velociraptors, suggesting that he had found a way to control and "domesticate" them. Then Universal released a clip of the movie recently, and rather than show off an action-packed set-piece, they for some reason settled for this rather cringe-worthy dialogue between Pratt and Bryce Dallas-Howard's characters. It's reiterated the sentiments of many that despite everyone wanting to love the movie and driven to go see it by a warm nostalgia for the original, Jurassic World probably isn't going to be that great, and will likely end up as a 3-star movie at best. The action will probably compensate for some weird plotting and poor dialogue, but if you go in expecting decisively the second-best movie in the series, you're probably going to have a bad time.
