3. No Claire-Owen Romance

Does anyone watching a Jurassic Park movie ever crave more romance? Not a chance, but that didn't stop Jurassic World insisting that its two adult leads had to have romantic history and, of course, end up back together by film's end. There was simply no need for it because the dinosaurs are plenty thrill enough: nobody went to see this movie for the beautiful people hooking up, and so all it did was weigh the film down. Plus, it was lazily thrown in there without any finesse at all: just ditch it and focus on the characters surviving this insane ordeal.
