15 Stupid Harry Potter Movie Mistakes You Probably Missed

7. Harry's Magical Shifting Scar

Harry Potter has suffered a lot of injuries over the years from the scar he acquired as an infant to having every bone in his arm removed and beyond but the films have been pretty good at keeping things consistent where his maladies are concerned.

For the most part, Harry's scar is usually in the same place and designed similarly enough to be considered acceptable and the team behind movies even did a really solid job of maintaining the blood spatter from his broken nose in The Half-Blood Prince - all of the difficult ones they managed perfectly.

However, in the closing scenes of The Goblet of Fire, Harry picked up a couple of nasty cheek scratches in the hedge maze prior to his meeting with Lord Voldemort and please note the word 'couple' meaning two. These scratches are maintained very well throughout the graveyard scene and his fond farewell to Dumbledore but then the magic happens.

As Harry approaches Ron and Hermione to say his end of term goodbyes, the wound is completely different having been shifted in angle, depth and reduced to just one scratch.

Again, we're probably blaming reshoots for this one as Harry's hair is also markedly different but why didn't they revisit the footage? It makes no sense.
