15 Stupid Star Wars Movie Mistakes You Probably Missed
13. Lightsaber Caught On Clothes - Attack Of The Clones
The lightsaber battles of the original trilogy focused more on the emotional weight of the conflicts rather than the skills of the two combatants. The old master and apprentice fight each other in A New Hope, the father testing his son in Empire Strikes Back and the son trying to save his father in Return Of The Jedi. All of these bouts are remembered for making us feel a rollercoaster of emotions.
The prequels were a chance for George to show audiences how fully trained Sith and Jedi would fight against one another at the peak of their powers. Hours of practising by the actors resulted in some of the most gloriously choreographed duels ever put to film.
Although, there was one moment in Attack Of The Clones that made Anakin Skywalker look like he had missed a few lessons. While he is fighting his way through the droid factory on Geonosis, actor Hayden Christensen can be seen getting his lightsaber caught on his sleeve and hood before the camera quickly cuts away.
Maybe the real reason why he kept losing his lightsaber was because he did not know how to Handle it properly.
