Release Date: June 24th (UK)There hasn't been a widely released Turkish horror movie since... well, okay, there isn't a single widely released Turkish horror movie that comes to mind. But director Can Evrenol's Baskin is just that, and based on the buzz it garnered from its many film festival screenings since September 2015, horror fans can look forward to something very out-there, and very, very gory.
The film centres on a police squad who perform a bust on what turns out to be a Satanic mass, and find themselves accidentally breaking into Hell itself. Sounds like The Raid meets The Evil Dead - and if that isn't a tantalising prospect for horror fans, I don't know what would be.
