15 Terrible Looking 2015 Movies That Will Shockingly Make A Profit

2. Kidnap

Why It Looks Terrible: This one has "stinker" written all over it. Halle Berry returns to the abduction thriller arena after 2013's The Call, playing a mother whose son has been kidnapped. Luis Prieto (who admittedly did a fine job on 2012's Pusher remake) directs, while the screenplay comes from first-timer Knate Gwaltney. From the absurdly generic title to the old-hat premise, there's probably not much to see here. How It Will Make A Profit: The financial success of The Call demonstrates that Berry is a viable asset in roles such as this, and with a title as unimaginative as Kidnap, you instantly know what you're getting when you buy your ticket. Budgetary information isn't available, though it likely isn't a very expensive production, and could very easily capture the whole Taken market, especially considering the (probable and hopeful) end of that franchise now.
