Why It Looks Terrible: It's the same sort of lame, fish-out-of-water road trip comedy movie you've seen a billion times before. Reese Witherspoon plays the uptight cop and Sofia Vergara plays the sexy wife of a drug dealer: nobody's exactly stretching themselves here, are they? The trailer is painfully unfunny and looks like it's going to deliver lowest common denominator entertainment at best: it pretty much just looks like a slightly less awful version of 2010's The Bounty Hunter. How It Will Make A Profit: Because Witherspoon is still extremely popular with audiences, and Vergara's sex appeal is sure to lead to a healthy box office too. Plus, The Bounty Hunter made $136.3 million at the box office despite being terrible, and given that the tone and style of this movie looks almost identical, it'll probably do similar business.
