The villain's big reveal in Iron Man 3 angered a lot of people, but it's hard to deny that Marvel were brave to play around with the Mandarin like that. Unfortunately, Guy Pearce's character wasn't the replacement we wanted or needed. While super strength and exothermic powers made Aldrich Killian a formidable foe, one particular ability took things a step too far into the realm of absurdity. As Rhodey attempts to escape the villains hideout, Killian decides that the best way to deal with him is not through use of his enhanced strength or even by generating heat through his hands. No, Killian decides that this would be the perfect time to debut his fire breath, like an evil Puff the Magic Dragon. As if that wasn't silly enough, this power is never mentioned again and none of the other Extremis-enhanced henchmen ever display the same ability, even though it would probably have come in handy at some point during the climactic battle. On a positive note, the worst scene in Iron Man 3 is still better than the entire Iron Man 2 movie, parrots and all.
