5. Lolita: Vibrator Torture (1987)
Classic Japanese Pinku Eiga fare. It was released by Nikkatsu as part of their Roman Porno collection. The film made a star out of Takeshi Ito who would go on to star in more delightful Pinku Eiga - including an award winning turn in Toshiya Uebo's epic: Keep on Masturbating. Non Stop Pleasure In Lolita: Vibrator Torture, a sadistic man is kidnapping teenage girls, bringing them to his disgusting freight container and having his wicked way with them (including the titular vibrator torture). He pours shaving cream and paint all over the girls until he decides to kill them and get rid of their bodies via an acid bath. A Pinku film that exemplifies the genre, there is less focus on sex as a pleasurable act. Everything in the film is geared towards violence, gore and nihilism. Probably unacceptably depraved for Western tastes, Lolita: Vibrator Torture nevertheless makes perfect sense in the context of Japanese Pinku films. The film is extremely hard to watch - there are weird visuals courtesy of the camera work, and the killer's artwork of his dead victims is very hard to wrap your head around. There is no hope or happiness in Lolita Vibrator Torture and it is exceptionally depraved and unique to Japanese cinema. A true treat for Pinku fans, a disgusting abomination for the rest.
