7. Vision Impaled Corvus Glaive - Avengers: Infinity War

When Vision first appeared in Age Of Ultron, he was presented as a sort of Human+, a supreme improvement on humanity designed by Ultron in defiance of his own creator's imperfections in creating him. His perfection is why he's immediately worthy of lifting Mjolnir and his messianic state is helped massively by the Mind Stone giving him God-like powers.

Perhaps because they realised that he was too powerful, the Russos then decided to balance him out a little more by essentially turning him into a love sick dork in a roll-neck jumper whose powers were markedly lessened by the time he reappeared in Civil War. Then in Infinity War, his "fall" - reflective perhaps of his increased humanity - was cemented by him embracing his own need to die.

But he still managed to get one big kill in in that film (having already dealt the killer blow to Ultron before he was depowered) by hoisting Corvus Glaive on his own weapon.
