15 Most Underrated 1980's Movies You Must See

6. The Company Of Wolves (1984)

Werewolves! Who doesn't like a good werewolf film every now and again? The Company Of Wolves is miles different from An American Werewolf In London (1981), The Howling (1981) and Ginger Snaps (2000) but deserves to sit alongside them as one of the best werewolf movies out there. This British production is heavy on the gothic and fantasy elements and has lots of rich symbolism. Despite the main character being a young schoolgirl this is decidedly adult film. Breathtaking visuals are the norm in The Company Of Wolves, which is doubly impressive considering the tiny budget that director Neil Jordan had to work with. Disturbing and stylish in equal measures, seek this film out at your earliest convenience. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5buDXjy08Cs
