15 Upcoming Horror Films You Should Be Excited About

Zombie movies have become pretty overdone in recent years, desperately calling for something new. Well, how about this: a movie where all the zombies are fourth graders.

In the new horror/comedy Cooties, a virus caused by bad cafeteria food sweeps through an elementary school, only affecting people who haven't yet gone through puberty. The film follows the teachers as they must fight for their life while surrounded by swarms of zombie children.

What an incredible premise, and Cooties also boasts a fantastic cast of Rainn Wilson, Elijah Wood, Alison Pill, and Jack McBrayer. It definitely seems to be emphasizing the comedy over the horror, but with Leigh Whannell of Saw fame on board, the film should still hopefully have some scary, Shaun of the Dead type moments throughout.

And what other movie can put the words "From the Co-Creator of Glee and the Co-Writer of Saw" in the trailer? What an unexpected combination that is.
