In addition, here he's working from an acclaimed book that's been adapted into a screenplay by Chuck Hogan, who himself previously authored the novel on which The Town was based. Plus, Bay is free of celebrity shackles, kitted out with a talented but lower-flying cast including the likes of John Krasinski, James Badge Dale and Pablo Schreiber.
