15 Weirdest Moments In Harry Potter Films

The fact that the Liquid Luck potion exists is weird in itself as it basically gives student an answer sheet to every exam. The way Harry uses it is a good way to get information from the aloof Professor Slughorn, but the way he acts after taking it is rather bizarre.

After Harry wins the vial of Liquid Luck in a potion making test, he drinks it in an effort to gain information that Slughorn might have given to Voldemort. After drinking it however, Harry ends up higher than a weather balloon as he wanders aimlessly around, unusually smiley and chipper, and being generally irritating around Hagrid and his dead spider friend.

It is funny, but at times it comes off as incredibly weird and awkward, particularly when he's just sitting in a corner, clapping like a toddler with keys being waved in front of his face. Not only that but this period of absurdity is interspliced with one of the more emotional moments of the series in Harry's pleading with Slughorn to be brave. The tonal shift is a bit too much.
