12. The Warriors Three

Okay, so they're three characters and not one, but the way the Warriors Three were used in Thor's franchise meant they barely had enough characterisation between them.

They should have been fearsome warriors with skills to mostly match Thor's, but they were turned into occasionally comedic Musketeer clones who helped with the share of the fighting but were rendered mostly useless as Thor's power rose.

That wouldn't have qualified them as fully terrible alone, though - it wasn't until Taika Waititi decided that they were an annoying loose end and killed them off in Ragnarok's first act that their status was confirmed. When the director doesn't think you're good enough to warrant much of a last stand (aside from Hogun's meagre attempt), you know you're in danger of total irrelevance.
