15 Worst Performances In Star Wars Movies
4. Emilia Clarke - Qi'ra
In fairness, Qi'ra is a terrible character; she's a bland love interest for most of the film before turning into a villain in an utterly nonsensical manner. That being said, she might've been better had she not been so badly-played.
Three years after her disastrous leading role in Terminator: Genesys, Clarke's performance here re-affirmed her inability to carry a role outside of Game of Thrones. Clarke's performance in Solo is exceptionally dull and one-note, while she also fails to ever convey the character's darker side and her switch into villainy at the end makes even less sense as a result.
Solo: A Star Wars Story did suck and there are a lot of major issues with it, but this role was definitely one of the biggest problems. It stuck out especially badly since the performances in Solo are largely fine regardless of the quality of the film itself.
