14. Nux's Pet Tumours & Love Of Silver Spray-Paint
An early fan favourite character in the new movie is the ailing War Boy Nux, played unrecognisably (and also quite brilliantly) by Nicholas Hoult. He initially kidnaps Max in order to use his blood to help temporarily cure his ailments, including two tumours on his collarbone, which he has affectionately named Larry and Barry, even drawing smiley faces onto them. That's just the start of his oddball behaviour, though. Nux, along with most of the other War Boys, also enjoys huffing silver spray-paint to pump himself up ahead of battle, though frankly, it's just a small, deliciously demented component of a movie soaked head-to-toe in weird.
Stay at home dad who spends as much time teaching his kids the merits of Martin Scorsese as possible (against the missus' wishes).
