6. Joonas Suotamo - Chewbacca

Like Jimmy Vee taking over from Kenny Baker following his death, Chewie's new actor, Joonas Suotamo, has been doing a fantastic job.

Actually doing some of his best work in the thoroughly average Solo: A Star Wars Story, Chewie's reaction to Han being shot in Episode VII is one of the most heartfelt and memorable we've ever seen.

Sadly this led to Chewie essentially sitting out Episode VIII as Rian Johnson left addressing Han's death to a couple of lines from Luke and Snoke, but with many of the older cast members returning for Episode IX, we'll hopefully get to see far more from the galaxy's favourite wookie.
