9. Jon Favreau - Iron Man/Batman Forever/Daredevil

Not content with playing two roles in the genre, Jon Favreau, who also scores extra points for having directed the first two Iron Man movies as well, actually played three separate side kick roles, straddling both sides of the Big Two divide. Way back before he was particularly well known - or enough to play in the foreground anyway - Favreau made his debut in the genre as a member of Bruce Wayne's entourage when he visits the lab and meets Jim Carrey's ludicrously over-blown (in a beautiful way) Edward Nygma. It was a blink and you'd miss it cameo but it set the trend for his association in comic book movies as the actor/director would turn up twice more as side-kicks to the main character, as he would go on to play Daredevil's best friend Foggy Nelson and Iron Man's side-kick/bat man Happy Hogan.
