13. Worst. Sex Scene. Ever. (Reloaded)

The whole Zion rave sequence in Reloaded is frequently held up as one of the worst scenes in the entire series, and why? Well, apart from how ridiculous and pointless the whole thing is (a bunch of people wearing skimpy clothes, writing around each other and dancing in the rain), there's a relatively unnecessary and outrageously awkward sex scene between Neo and Trinity that's shot with no passion whatsoever, and the actors are both pretty much just taking the "dead fish" approach to love-making. As the seemingly endless four-minute sequence cuts between the horny ravers and the Neo-Trinity coitus, there's not a single boob or perky a** on full display, which for an R-rated movie seems like a wasted opportunity. After watching two actors with no real romantic chemistry thrusting dispassionately for what seems like forever, the scene ends with an amusing ambiguity, appearing to imply that Neo lost his wood because he kept thinking about Trinity's impending doom. Or something.
