16 Delayed 2021 Movies That Were Actually Worth Waiting For

9. Nobody

No Time to Die Daniel Craig
Universal

Nobody was delayed quite a few times by the pandemic and it only arrived in the UK several months after it was released in the US, but it's safe to say everyone who was anticipating it had their patience rewarded and then some.

Bob Odenkirk wasn't an actor many people would've pegged down as an action star, but he does a superb job in the lead part and positively annihilates any pre-release scepticism. Better still, the film around him does justice to his excellent work too.

The film is full of absolutely incredible action sequences which are superbly directed, but it's also a well-written project too, since the story is very well-structured and it's full of smart, unpredictable plot twists.

It has its flaws here and there, just like anything else (namely, the villain is pretty weak) but Nobody is a very successful action film overall and it completely deserved to become the sleeper hit it ultimately was.

As well as this, it gave us something we never knew we needed: Back to the Future's Christopher Lloyd being a shotgun-wielding badass.
