16 Delayed 2021 Movies That Were Actually Worth Waiting For

8. No Time To Die

The 17-month wait for No Time to Die (after it was first postponed) was quite arguably the most torturous wait for any film in recent memory. Remember, most of the other delayed films were held back by a year, not a year and a half.

So, if the film had been a let-down, that would've been too much to bear. Thankfully, that wasn't how things turned out.

No Time to Die is far from perfect - the plot is convoluted and full of holes, it's too long, the villain is awful and Blofled (Christoph Waltz) is criminally mishandled AGAIN - but the positives far outweigh the negatives.

The film is a beautifully-directed and brilliantly acted spectacle that not only provides an array of heat-pounding set-pieces but also has an absolute ton of emotional depth. It explores the character of James Bond (Daniel Craig) in a deeply moving way and contains several incredible dramatic wallops that'll leave many viewers sobbing.

Therefore, while it's not one of the very best James Bond films to date, it's definitely one of the most moving, dramatically rich and audacious ones and even though not all of it works, it's hard not to admire the film for its ambition and heart.

It also contains quite arguably the best movie moment of the year, so there's that too.
