17 Biggest Guilty Pleasure Movies Of 2017

8. The Greatest Showman

The Greatest Showman almost feels like a parody of an Oscar-baiting musical it's hilariously over-the-top, shamelessly camp, packed with bubblegump pop songs and features one of the worst lip-sync jobs in a musical in recent memory with Rebecca Ferguson's hilarious rendition of "Never Enough".

It's also patently dishonest about the darker real-life nature of P.T. Barnum, but thanks to Hugh Jackman's charming performance, a litany of catchy songs and the sheer intoxicating bombast of the production, it's easy to forgive - but not forget - those flaws.

Few will honestly believe the movie deserves a slew of Oscar nominations, but it does entertain as a breathless, knowingly absurd musical romp that, true to the movie's hit song "This is Me", makes no apologies for what it is.
