7. Transformers: The Last Knight

The fifth Transfomers movie cranks the Bayhem up to 11 with a sequel so bafflingly ridiculous you'll probably assume you cooked it up in a fever dream.

The Last Knight is overlong, nonsensically plotted, potentially offensive and jam-packed with rock 'em sock 'em action sequences that are too overcooked for their own good.

It's also one of the funniest films of 2017, with Stanley Tucci recast as an alcoholic Merlin, Anthony Hopkins showing up with a ninja robot butler, a Transformer being implied to have killed Hitler, Mark Wahlberg swinging Excalibur around, and Optimus Prime and Bumblebee getting their own "Martha!" moment.

On top of all this, it's a lot less sexist than any of the prior movies, the embarrassing humour is trimmed down and it goes unabashedly all-in on the insane set-pieces.

Neither the best nor worst Transformers movie to date, it is simply the MOST Transformers movie to date. If the script, which plays out as though written by an 8-year-old, doesn't make you laugh intermittently, you might be depressed.
