The Doctor Who actor who has played the most high-profile role in a Marvel film is surely Andrew Garfield - only the web-slinger himself in both The Amazing Spider-Man films. The 31 year old American-born English actor has saved New York from evil supervillains twice as Spider-Man - but that wasn't the first time he'd done so. In 2007 Doctor Who two-parter Daleks In Manhattan/Evolution Of The Daleks, he helped saved New York from some more evil supervillains - the Daleks! In case you don't remember, Garfield played the role of Frank, a young Texan who had fallen on hard times and was living in the Hooverville shanty-town in Central Park. With the Spider-Man franchise being reclaimed by the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Garfield's future in the role is over - so maybe he could be free to return to the Whoniverse once again, in a bigger role. Perhaps even the biggest. The Amazing Spider-Doctor, anyone? Like our list? Have we missed out another actor who has appeared in both Doctor Who and Marvel films? Let us know in the comments!
