This one was hard to miss. Amy Pond actress Karen Gillans most high-profile role since leaving Doctor Who was her part as Nebula, the sadistic sidekick to Ronan and Thanos (and Gamoras sister) in Guardians Of The Galaxy. Gillan notably shaved off her famous red locks for the role. It has recently been confirmed that Nebula will return in the Guardians sequel due in 2017, this time, it's thought, with a more substantial role. Director James Gunn has also said that they've come up with a way to make Karen look convincingly bald without her having to shave her head again - something Karen's no doubt pleased about!
