17 Subtle Star Wars Easter Eggs And References In Other Movies

1. The Numbers Game - Sky Captain And The World Of Tomorrow (2004)

There are a handful of references to Star Wars in Kerry Conran's Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, a sci-fi actioner set in a technologically advanced 1939. Writer/director Conran counts George Lucas' films as a major influence, and some of the nods he gives in Sky Captain would only be picked up on by hardened Star Wars fans. Dr. Jennings' laboratory being located in Suite 1138, for example. In another numerical nod to Lucas, when Jude Law brings his ship into Manta Station in the film he is granted permission to land on platform number 327. That€™s the same platform number that the Millennium Falcon used on more than one occasion - it landed on docking bay 327 on the Death Star, and parked in space 327 in Cloud City where Han met with Lando Calrissian.
