9. The To-Do List - Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014)
As Steve Rogers bids to catch up on everything he has missed during his deep sleep, he compiles a list of things he needs to check out, from historical events to takeout food. Although Cap's list does differ slightly in the various international releases of the film, every version of the list includes Star Wars/Trek. Interestingly, Star Wars is crossed out in the American release, implying Rogers has already seen the films. Marvel also paid a Phase-long tribute to Luke losing his hand to Vader in The Empire Strikes Back by giving a character in each of the Phase 2 films the same treatment. Aldrich Killian, Thor, Nebula, Groot, Ulysses Klaue and Darren Cross all have an arm/hand chopped off in their respective films, an Easter egg that Marvel Studios president and Star Wars fan Kevin Feige admitted started by accident but soon became fully intentional.
