Goldmember has a high amount of jokes hidden away in the background of the film. Austin's list of Things To Do Before I Die includes such items as: Save World from Certain Doom; Find True Love; Go to Outer Space; Travel Through Time, Backward and Forward; Be Cryogenically Frozen; Catch Dr. Evil in the First Act; Threesome with Japanese Twins and Win Daddy's Respect. Dr. Evil's submarine also has a lot of hidden jokes around. A sign on the submarine informs how to correctly carry an unconscious captive with "Lift with your legs, not with your back". Other signs on the submarine also include such hidden gems as: "All Henchmen Must Clock In With Their Own Timecard", "42 Days Since Last Accident/Liquidation" and "Hang In There!". Finally for those who somehow missed it the final scene of the showing of Austinpussy in the cinema has a seat reserved for Nigel Powers. The hidden gem that tells us that once again Nigel missed an important event in his son's life. This time though it seems that Austin has finally moved past his father issues and moved on with his life.
