18 Absolute Weirdest Movies In Existence

10. Visitor Q

Excluding Takashi Miike from a list of weird movies would be almost as sacrilegious as omitting David Lynch - Miike's long list of movies (in his most prolific years he's directed 6-7 movies per year and is still going strong) often include forays into the weird and unusual, not to mention the dark and disturbing. Visitor Q is all those things and more - shot on an ultra-low budget partly as an experiment in cheap digital video, it's a lean but mean story of a strange man who arrives at a wealthy home and proceeds to seduce everyone within. Extreme cinema at its most transgressive, it's a movie which lingers in the mind long after viewing, for better or worse. Dysfunctional families have never come so twisted.
