18 Crazy Facts You Have To Accept To Enjoy The Wizarding World Movies
13. Deathly Hallows Should've Been One Movie
Sure, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is a very complicated (and superb) book in which a lot happens, but splitting the final part in two wasn't the right answer. If Warner Bros. had released the final film as a three-hour single instalment, everyone would've understood and frankly this would've been a lot better.
Part 1 is still a good film but it is slow, doesn't have enough action and feels like two thirds of a story without a pay-off, meaning it's one of the lower-tier Harry Potter films. Part 2, in contrast, is really good and one of the very best Harry Potter movies, but it is still essentially a two hour third act and is a bit exhausting at times.
Essentially, these movies needed to be merged into one and then these structural issues would've been largely fixed.
