18 Crucial Questions For 2015's Most Anticipated Movies

12. Is Jurassic World The First Sequel To Live Up To The Original?

Release Date: June 12th Of the three Jurassic Park movies to date, only the first has actually been any good, with the two mild sequels delivering a few thrills but basically failing to live up to the excellence of the original. The series has been dead in the water for over a decade, but next year brings its (hopeful) resurrection with Jurassic World. Directed by young up-and-comer Colin Trevorrow and boasting a stupid-good cast including Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D'Onofrio, Jake Johnson, Irrfan Khan, Omar Sy and Judy Greer, there's a lot of hope that Jurassic World might be the first of the three sequels to actually do a fine service to the original. With a trailer due to drop at Thanksgiving, hopefully fans will have more of a clue about how the film is shaping up then. Verdict: From what's been shown so far and with so much talent attached, there are plenty of reasons to be excited. Even if the script doesn't quite come up to muster, hopefully Pratt's natural charisma and some terrifying new dinosaurs will make it a fun sit nevertheless.
