5. What Does Benicio Del Toro's Villain Look Like? - Star Wars: Episode VIII
The Question: Benicio del Toro was confirmed to be playing Episode VIII's main villain a long time ago, but set snaps haven't caught a glimpse of him, so we're still left wondering what he looks like: human? Alien? Some sort of hybrid?
The Likely Answer: With Supreme Leader Snoke (Andy Serkis) being the overarching antagonist of this new trilogy, it seems unlikely that Disney would sign off on two performance captured villains in such close proximity, so it seems much more likely that del Toro will be playing a physical character who actually resembles him to some degree, hopefully without any performance-encroaching make-up around his face.
Give him some wacky hair and nutty costumes like The Collector, but covering up his expressive mug would be a huge mistake. Perhaps he's Kylo Ren's bada** Sith trainer or something?
