18 Hilarious Amazon Reviews Of 2017's Oscar Movies

17. Doctor Strange

Wahlberg Deepwater Horizon
Marvel Studios

Nominated For: Best Visual Effects

Doctor Strange's stunning Inception-inspired Visual Effects were widely acclaimed to be some of the best of 2016, creating an incredible, imaginative landscape that pushed the usual limits of technology to create a picture that was faithful to Steve Ditko's iconic Strange comics.

But it takes more than that to impress use 67241, who was less than enthusiastic:

"After the bajillionth folding building special effect (yawn) the story just seems tired. Some plot elements drag on and on, and the storylines that should have been expanded are just cut short. Love the actors and they did a good job, but the story and effects just get stale after about 20 minutes. Ugh, that American accent Benedict uses ... Overall, not worth the purchase."

And spare a thought for another reviewer who claims "Doctor Strange is the most boring character Marvel has made a movie of and the movie is the worst Superhero movie of the last decade." Yeah, Fantastic Four was MUCH better.
