Though a small minority of reviewers wonder on the hyperbolic 5 star reviews because of the film's lack of pace and heft, there's definitely a rich seam of people who saw and were devastated by the story, and rightly so.

Even if the film is a littly light-weight next to some of the Best Picture competitors, it is still very good.
