For the second half of Home Alone, we see Kate McAllister struggling to make her way back from Paris so that she can check on Kevin. When Kate arrives back at home, thats all fine and fair enough, but is there really a need for the rest of the family to cancel their trip and fly back home? Mere moments after Kate gets back to her 8-year-old son, the rest of the McAllister clan arrive. You could understand maybe dad Peter heading home to check on his son and be with his wife, but having all of the other kids turn up feels a bit much. Then again, the only other alternative would be to leave the kids with proverbial pain in the ass Uncle Frank. Going even further into the depths of really? is that Kevin even gets praise and a hand slap from uber-prick Buzz.
