Robin Williams admitted himself into rehab in mid-2014 for alcohol addiction, though nobody saw his August suicide coming. The actor hanged himself at his home, and in the days that followed it was reported that the actor had been suffering from severe depression and had also been diagnosed with early stage Parkinson's disease. The outpouring of grief was colossal, given the actor's iconic stature in countless feel-good comedies, and a general admiration for the man's talent and affable demeanour. So respected was he that even with the anonymity of the Internet, sick jokes about the actor's demise were extremely hard to come by: few had a bad word to say about the man. Recent months have seen the actor's final projects trickle down, with his very last role, voicing a dog in Terry Jones' Absolutely Anything, due out next summer.
