Rotten Tomatoes score: 83% As the money-making MCU train continues to churn ahead at full steam, its getting clearer that you can play a game of six degrees of separation, minus three degrees and still find projects in which the actors have worked together before/after joining the MCU alumni. Results is an unconventional rom-com (which will either terrify men or calm them down when their better half tries to sell them on watching it) about two personal trainers, played by Guy Pearce and Cobie Smulders, whose lives intertwine when they take on a difficult client, Danny. Freshly divorced, newly rich and mopey as all hell, Danny is the perfect test subject for the two trainers to study the relationship between money and happiness. Which is exactly what you may be doing after spending money to see it, if these types of movies arent up your alley. Pearce playing someone who is ruthlessly optimistic is a nice change of pace as I can only remember him as a miserable bastard in the majority of his movies; a miserable bastard who also happens to be one of the best actors of his generation. You should see this if: you enjoy smart, well-written romantic comedies that feature dynamic performances all around.
