Rotten Tomatoes score: 93% With a nose that looks like its been broken more often than a compulsive liar's New Years resolution, Jon Bernthal certainly looks the part of what could potentially be the quintessential Frank Castle, but we will have to wait until March to see if fans of the cult icon can finally get the punishment they deserve. Its humorous to see that, in Sicario, Bernthal is playing the type of guy who would be looking down the wrong side of The Punishers sights. Sicario is a tightly wound thriller that endeavors to do much more than provide elaborate action. With its stony female FBI protagonist (played convincingly by Emily Blunt) bouncing off the enigmatic Benicio del Toros consultant, Alejandro, Sicario is one of the success stories of 2015. Bernthal plays Ted, a local cop who has become corrupted by the imposing Mexican drug cartels. You should see this if: you want to watch an all-around stellar film that balances its action and character development, headed by a convincingly tough (yet vulnerable) female lead.
